BABY ON THE WAY: NURSERY INSPIRATION

We're expecting a little girl in August! We've been working on our little bundle of joy's nursery for the last couple of months and things are finally coming together. I've always loved this nursery, and wanted to incorporate bright coral walls with neutral furniture and decor. We're trying to purchase mostly gender-neutral items, so the walls will really be the sweet "girly" piece. Otherwise, soft neutral grays, tans, and white will keep the room light and airy (since there's only one window). The bunny thing just kind of happened. I've always loved them, and I couldn't stop finding sweet bun-buns to snatch up for the room.

I painted three of the walls Peony by Martha Stewart (first swatch on the board), and the peony mural is on the fourth wall behind the crib. I've already started, and I'm thinking it's going to be more work than I expected...duh. I'm hoping to be done by the end of June, so wish me luck! Before and after shots to come.
