I just love these two. Amanda emailed me last summer, a friend of a friend, freshly engaged and so excited about her upcoming spring wedding. She and her fiancé Nick had just gotten engaged and were selling their houses and building a new one, preparing for their life and marriage together with their two big dogs.
So naturally, we all met for coffee and hit it off. Amanda had the idea to do their fall engagement session at Taylor's Falls and I was over-the-moon excited about it. I just love this gorgeous place — the tall, beautiful cliffs along the St Croix River, at sunset, with fall colors and no crowd. Oh, and they brought their giant pups! It couldn't have been better. Nick is a police officer, and I just love that he wore his uniform for part of our session. I couldn't be more grateful for his service and for Amanda's strength in sending him off into the line of duty every day.
Next, we headed to Franconia Sculpture Park, a unique outdoor acreage full of strange and wonderful works of art. I just loved this session so so so much — these two, wildly in love, out on an adventure. More sessions like this, please! I cannot wait for their wedding day this May, it's going to be incredible!
